On July 1, BYD Energy Storage unveiled the signing of a partnership accord with Greenvolt Power, aimed at co-developing the Siedlce energy storage project in Poland. Boasting a total capacity of 600MW/2.4GWh, this project is set to emerge as Poland's largest battery energy storage endeavor once finalized. Prior to this, the duo had already teamed up on two local ventures, amassing a combined capacity of 1.6GWh. The Siedlce project is slated to kick off construction in the third quarter of 2026 and commence operations by the end of 2027.
