The market supervision and administration authority has handed down an administrative penalty to a car brand sales company. Personnel associated with the company, utilizing the corporate account, concocted disparaging remarks about Xiaomi's vehicles during a live webcast. These remarks were subsequently edited into short videos and circulated widely. Such actions contravened the Anti-Unfair Competition Law of the People's Republic of China, leading to a hefty fine of 400,000 yuan. The company was also directed to immediately halt these illicit activities and mitigate the negative repercussions. Xiaomi, upon learning of the penalty decision, affirmed its commitment to protecting its rights and interests through legal channels.
