On Thursday, Tesla revealed that its Berlin-based factory is set to elevate its production capacity by 20% from October this year onwards, reaching a weekly output of 7,500 fully assembled vehicles. To facilitate this expansion, Tesla plans to recruit an extra 1,000 workers. The company had previously disclosed its intentions to enhance the factory's capacity back in April, aiming to cater to the escalating market demand for the Model Y. Subsequently, in May, Tesla announced further investments to expand the factory's battery production capabilities.
