On June 25th, Leapmotor officially rolled out its first MPV model—the Leapmotor D99—from its flagship D-platform, with prices ranging from 249,800 to 319,800 yuan. This new vehicle represents the pinnacle of Leapmotor's decade-long commitment to independent, full-scope R&D technology. Positioned as a "tech-luxury flagship MPV," the Leapmotor D99 offers customers the choice between an extended-range and a pure electric powertrain.
The extended-range variant is outfitted with an 80.3kWh CATL lithium iron phosphate battery, delivering a CLTC-rated pure electric range of 480km and a total combined range surpassing 1200km. It also supports 800V high-voltage fast charging, enabling a swift 30%-80% charge in just 15 minutes. On the other hand, the pure electric version boasts a 115kWh CATL ultra-hybrid battery cell, providing a CLTC range of 700km. It too supports high-voltage fast charging, but at an even higher 1000V, allowing for a rapid 350km range replenishment in the same 15-minute timeframe.
Under the hood, the new car is powered by dual Qualcomm 8797 chips, delivering an impressive total computing power of 1280TOPS. It supports an integrated cockpit-driving architecture and full-scenario navigation-assisted driving, ensuring a seamless and intelligent driving experience from parking space to parking space, covering all closed-loop scenarios.
