On June 25th, the Ministry of Transport, in collaboration with four other departments, jointly released the "Innovative Action Plan for Typical Application Scenarios in the Integration of 'Artificial Intelligence + Transportation'." This plan outlines the intention to carry out comprehensive research, development, and testing of 'end-to-end' large-scale models specifically tailored for intelligent driving. It encompasses the creation and verification of intelligent evaluation technologies for a variety of scenarios, including highway freight transportation, park logistics, and short-distance commuting services. Moreover, the plan delves into the exploration of establishing intelligent testing grounds that seamlessly blend virtual and real-world environments.

Furthermore, the plan underscores the importance of prioritizing mainline transportation scenarios involving bulk cargo, such as minerals, containers, and grains. It aims to validate the integrated application of intelligent driving technologies, with the ultimate goal of reducing technological costs, enhancing quality, and boosting efficiency in freight transportation.
