On June 25, Business Insider reported that BYD is in the process of developing humanoid robots, aiming to take on Tesla's Optimus in the market. Li Ke, the Executive Vice President of BYD, expressed her vision that, in the future, humanoid robots could be utilized in showrooms to facilitate car sales. The plan is to equip each store with two to three robots. These robots would be responsible for explaining product features, interacting with customers, and demonstrating vehicle functions. However, it's important to note that this move is not intended to replace the emotional connection and personalized service that human sales staff provide.
