BYD is set to revamp the operational framework of its sub-brands. The sub-brands, encompassing Dynasty, Ocean, Fang Cheng Bao, and Denza, are slated to take full charge of their financial outcomes, with autonomous settlement of group resource expenditures. Notably, the Yangwang brand will be exempt from this restructuring initiative in the interim.
In pursuit of this objective, BYD will bifurcate its Automotive Engineering Institute into five distinct brand-centric research institutes. Henceforth, the Engineering Institute will concentrate solely on the development of technological platforms, marking a departure from the erstwhile practice where it was solely responsible for defining and developing vehicle models in a uniform manner.
Data unveiled by BYD Auto reveals that the cumulative sales volume for May reached 383,453 units. Among these, the Dynasty and Ocean series accounted for 330,215 units, Fang Cheng Bao contributed 30,186 units, Denza recorded 16,303 units, and the Yangwang brand registered 286 units.
