Dazhong Transportation: Intelligent Connected Vehicles Still in Experimental Phase, Yielding Negligible Revenue

On June 17th, Dazhong Transportation revealed, via an interactive platform, that it is currently partnering with Baidu's Apollo Go to conduct a pilot program for autonomous taxis in Shanghai's Pudong New Area. In this initiative, five driverless Robotaxis have been deployed for demonstration purposes. Additionally, 38 vehicles with drivers in the Jiading District are also taking part in this demonstration operation. At present, intelligent connected vehicles remain firmly in the experimental stage, generating almost no revenue for the company. The future trajectory of this business venture, along with its potential impact on short-term operational activities, remains uncertain.
