Buick Ultium E7 has introduced a captivating new car color, "Liu Jin Green". This striking hue is achieved through an advanced 8-layer coating process that incorporates nine specially customized pigments, designed to withstand various weather conditions. Utilizing fully automated robotic spraying techniques and precise constant-temperature baking, the process ensures a "zero color difference" finish, delivering a flawless and uniform appearance. Additionally, in July, the model will enhance its entertainment features by introducing a microphone-free karaoke function through an OTA upgrade.
The new car made its debut on April 22nd, boasting impressive dimensions with a length of 4,850mm, width of 1,910mm, height of 1,676mm, and a wheelbase of 2,850mm. In terms of powertrain, the Ultium E7 is equipped with the cutting-edge True Dragon Plug-in Hybrid Pro system, featuring a robust 165kW motor and supporting 6kW external discharge capabilities.
The mid-to-low-end variants of the Ultium E7 are powered by a 1.5L engine (72kW) paired with Zhengli Xinneng batteries, offering a CLTC pure electric range of 235 kilometers and a combined range of 1,630 kilometers. On the other hand, the high-end model is equipped with a more powerful 1.5T engine (115kW) and SAIC-GM Times batteries, providing a CLTC pure electric range of 230 kilometers and a combined range of 1,600 kilometers.
