The NIO Legal Department issued a notice stating that plagiarism and counterfeiting of NOMI in the market have become increasingly severe. Infringing actions by some manufacturers and accounts not only harm the legitimate rights and interests of NIO but also pose potential threats to users' driving safety. Specifically, some merchants have counterfeited the appearance of NOMI without authorization, producing and selling electronic products with similar appearances. These products have not undergone automotive-grade verification and pose safety risks. Additionally, some merchants directly appropriate the core design elements of NOMI for use in other vehicle cabins, which may lead to issues such as false triggers or delayed responses. Furthermore, individual self-media and online accounts have fabricated false comparison content to mislead consumers. In response to these infringing actions, NIO has completed evidence notarization and preservation and has filed civil lawsuits and administrative complaints against the relevant entities. Since its release in 2017, NOMI Mate has achieved nearly 50 industry-first or leading emotional experiences and technological breakthroughs. Its safety performance has also passed authoritative safety certifications alongside NIO's vehicles, whereas counterfeit products cannot provide these technological breakthroughs and safety guarantees.
