The BYD Seal 08 has made a striking entrance, featuring Ocean Network’s exclusive color choice, ‘Sea Mist Purple.’ Drawing inspiration from the serene morning sea mist, this design showcases a subtle purple-gray tone enhanced by BASF varnish. The vehicle made its worldwide debut in March of this year, showcasing impressive features such as rapid charging capabilities, rear-wheel steering, standard auxiliary driving across all models, and the advanced Yunjian-A body control system.
The interior is opulently designed, featuring dual zero-gravity seats in the front row. All seats come equipped with ventilation, heating, and massage functions for ultimate comfort. Additional luxuries include a welcoming light carpet, four power-absorbing doors, double-layer soundproof glass throughout the cabin, eight magnetic expansion points, and a vehicle-grade tissue box. The flagship cabin, inspired by Ocean Aesthetics 2.0, adopts the ‘Dawn Cream’ color scheme, with the center console and door panels elegantly adorned with iridescent mother-of-pearl.
In terms of dimensions, the vehicle measures 5150mm in length, 1999mm in width, and 1505mm in height, with a wheelbase of 3030mm. The pure electric version is built on an 800V high-voltage platform, while the plug-in hybrid version is powered by a DM-i plug-in hybrid system, boasting a maximum engine power of 115 kilowatts. The vehicle is equipped with second-generation blade batteries, promising a pure electric range expected to surpass 1000 kilometers and the ability to add 400 kilometers of range in just 5 minutes of charging.
