As per Lei Feng Network, XPENG Motors has made an official foray into the yacht industry and is set to assemble a research and development team comprising nearly 100 individuals by early 2026. The initiative, internally codenamed "Flying Fish," is being spearheaded by Qian Zhanwei, the leader of vehicle architecture. The project is centered on chassis algorithms and is aimed at the affluent C-end family market, with the development process currently underway.
