BYD, a prominent Chinese electric vehicle (EV) manufacturer, has revealed its grand strategy to implement a widespread deployment of its ultra-rapid "Flash Charger" network throughout Europe, aiming to significantly bolster its foothold in the European automotive sector. Presently, the inaugural phase of charging stations has commenced operations in both Germany and the United Kingdom. As per the outlined blueprint, BYD is set to erect roughly 3,000 rapid-charging stations across the European continent by the conclusion of 2027. These stations will be strategically positioned in high-traffic zones and along major highways, with the ambition of establishing a charging point every 50 kilometers to ensure seamless EV travel.
