On June 2, Breton (01333.HK) disclosed in a public announcement that it had inked a three-year strategic cooperation framework letter of intent with Shanghai Zhida Technology Development Co., Ltd. (02650.HK). The collaboration will span the realms of new energy engineering machinery and intelligent charging infrastructure. Both entities plan to cross-license the sale of their respective products and services in overseas territories, including Indonesia, Australia, and Latin America. Specifically, Breton aims to procure a minimum of 5,000 high-capacity charging stations or charging robot units from Zhida Technology. In return, Zhida Technology intends to acquire at least 500 electric mining trucks from Breton. Additionally, the two firms will co-invest in the establishment of overseas service and after-sales support sharing hubs and assemble a joint technical team to innovate intelligent charging solutions.
