The final batch of Tesla Model S/X vehicles has just come off the assembly line at the Fremont factory in California, symbolizing the formal phase-out of these two pioneering models that sparked the global shift towards electric vehicles. The existing production line for the Model S/X will be dismantled and overhauled within the next four months, paving the way for a specialized assembly line dedicated to humanoid robots, with an ambitious annual production target of 1 million units. Concurrently, the Texas factory is gearing up for a second-generation production line, with aspirations to achieve a production capacity in the tens of millions of units.
