WeRide has unveiled its financial results for the first quarter of 2026, showcasing a remarkable revenue of 114 million yuan, marking a significant 58% surge compared to the same period last year. Notably, the company has also managed to narrow its operating loss. Its gross profit witnessed a robust 56% year-on-year growth, reaching 39.6 million yuan, accompanied by a gross margin of 35%. During the first quarter, the number of registered Robotaxi users in China witnessed an approximate doubling from the previous year, with each vehicle averaging over 17 daily orders domestically. This figure even peaked at 28 orders during peak hours. Presently, WeRide boasts a global Robotaxi fleet of approximately 1,300 vehicles, with ambitious plans to deploy 200,000 autonomous vehicles within the next five years.
