On May 7, BYD’s flagship SUV, the Tang, achieved a significant milestone by securing more than 100,000 pre-orders. This particular model includes RoboSense’s digital LiDAR as a standard feature across all trim levels, ensuring orders for at least 100,000 LiDAR units from this model alone. All 11 of BYD’s newly launched models are outfitted with this LiDAR technology, bringing the total number of models equipped with it to 32.
