On May 7th, Faraday Future declared that, in light of a strategic cooperation agreement reached with its bridge partners, it would transition the original FX Super One model to an 800V battery electric vehicle (BEV) variant or expedite the AIHER hybrid-electric initiative, concurrently suspending collaboration on the initial 400V model. The 800V architecture boasts extended range, swifter charging capabilities, and enhanced efficiency, whereas the AIHER hybrid-electric technology is tailored for regions with extremely cold climates. According to the revised delivery schedule, the initial phase of the 800V BEV model is anticipated to be delivered within the next 6 to 9 months, while the first phase of the AIHER hybrid-electric model is projected to arrive within 9 to 12 months.
