On April 14, Nissan Motor Co., Ltd. unveiled a comprehensive transformation strategy. As part of this plan, the company intends to streamline its global model portfolio, cutting it down from 56 to 45 models—a reduction of roughly 20%. Additionally, Nissan will focus its sales efforts, with 80% of its sales expected to come from three core model families. Looking ahead to the 2030 fiscal year, Nissan has set ambitious targets, aiming to achieve annual sales exceeding 1 million units in both the U.S. and Chinese markets. To realize this goal, the company will roll out a series of more competitive new products.
