Recently, Mr. Wu, a Chengdu local, sustained injuries in a rollover accident that occurred during a Tesla test drive. The mishap was attributed to an operational error by a salesperson at the Tesla store, which resulted in the vehicle overturning. Traffic police investigations concluded that the salesperson bore full responsibility for the incident. However, as of April 10, Mr. Wu had yet to receive any compensation. Furthermore, his claim for 8,000 yuan in compensation for emotional distress was turned down by the Tesla store. In response, Tesla stated that the process of reimbursing Mr. Wu for medical expenses, lost wages, and property damage was already in progress, and that they were maintaining open and active communication with the customer throughout.
