AITO Auto's official Weibo account has unveiled official images of the latest iteration of the AITO M9, showcasing its striking golden two-tone exterior crafted under the auspices of the Hongmeng Intelligent Automotive Alliance. This new model marks a significant leap forward by integrating six LiDAR sensors for the first time, along with an extra side camera mounted on the C-pillar, which collectively enhance its intelligent perception capabilities. The vehicle's overall silhouette exudes a more robust and commanding presence, with refined adjustments made to the front fascia and rear bumper designs. The daytime running lights now feature a sleek through-type design, while the taillights have been stripped of their silver accents, giving them a more streamlined appearance. In terms of dimensions, the new model is marginally larger than its predecessor. The extended-range variant is powered by a 1.5T range extender, delivering 220kW of power to the front motor and 277kW to the rear motor. Similarly, the pure electric version boasts identical power outputs for both its front and rear motors. The extended-range version also offers varying WLTC fuel consumption rates, tailored to different curb weights.
