On April 11, during the 2026 High-Level Forum on the Development of Intelligent Electric Vehicles, Li Qiang, who serves as the Vice President of the Public Cloud Business Unit at Alibaba Cloud Intelligence Group and concurrently as the General Manager of the AI Automotive Industry, revealed that at present, more than 30 automotive firms and intelligent driving solution providers are actively engaged in research and development activities related to intelligent driving on Alibaba Cloud. Notably, the actual deployment of Pingtouge's self-developed 'Zhenwu' PPUs has surpassed 100,000 cards, marking a historic milestone as the largest-scale utilization of self-developed AI chips on public cloud platforms within the automotive sector.
