Recently, TrueEV, the Australian dealer for XPENG Motors, has gone into administration. On April 7, XPENG issued a response, stating that during the course of their collaboration, TrueEV encountered a capital chain disruption and was subsequently taken over by its financing party. For over a year, TrueEV had refrained from purchasing any vehicles, resulting in a failure to fulfill orders for 454 vehicles. Moreover, it was embroiled in commercial disputes with local dealers. XPENG has formally served TrueEV with a breach-of-contract notice and revoked its exclusive agency status, while allowing it to retain its general agency status. XPENG is committed to establishing a technologically sophisticated and dependable tech brand in Australia over the next three years. The immediate priority is to restore customer confidence and ensure a consistent and reliable service experience.
