On the afternoon of April 5, a single-vehicle crash involving an XPENG vehicle took place in Guangyuan, Sichuan, resulting in injuries to two occupants. Firefighters, acting on professional guidance, safely extricated the individuals by carefully dismantling parts of the vehicle. Notably, the vehicle doors remained fully operable following the incident. However, certain individuals have deliberately attempted to mislead the public by circulating images of the vehicle post-dismantling, accompanied by sensationalist claims like "the roof has caved in" and "the vehicle is completely destroyed." Such actions have had a damaging effect on XPENG Group's reputation. In response, XPENG Motors' Legal Department has gathered evidence against those spreading these falsehoods and will pursue legal action against them. Concurrently, the company is extending its support to the affected customer for subsequent procedures and urges all drivers to prioritize road safety at all times.
