Recently, numerous media sources have reported that Tesla has pinpointed Xiaomi's latest-generation SU7 as its foremost competitor. A mere three days post the SU7's market debut, Tesla promptly compiled an exhaustive benchmarking report, delving into financial incentives, product strengths, and other key aspects. Notably, other vehicles within the same price bracket did not receive such meticulous attention. Sales personnel at Tesla stores have disclosed that over half of the customers who come to inquire compare the Model 3 with the SU7, rendering it unfeasible for Tesla to overlook this formidable contender. Statistics reveal that by 2025, Xiaomi SU7 deliveries had soared past 240,000 units, outpacing the Model 3 to claim the title of the best-selling pure electric sedan priced over 200,000 yuan. In light of this competition, Tesla has fine-tuned its sales approach, now underscoring its superiority in financial terms, after-sales support, and energy efficiency.
