On April 2, Tesla unveiled its production and delivery report for the first quarter of 2026. The data revealed that Tesla's global production of pure electric vehicles soared to over 408,000 units during the quarter, marking a 12.7% year-on-year surge. Meanwhile, deliveries exceeded 358,000 units, reflecting a 6.5% increase compared to the same period last year. Focusing on specific models, the Model 3 and Model Y continued to be the primary sales drivers. In the first quarter, Tesla produced 394,611 units of these models and delivered 341,893 units, with operational leasing making up roughly 1% of the total deliveries.
