On April 2, Volvo Cars reported that its global sales volume for the first quarter of 2026 stood at 153,316 units, marking an 11% decrease compared to the same period in the previous year. Specifically, pure electric vehicles made up 23.7% of the total sales, while plug-in hybrid electric vehicles constituted 23.6%, resulting in electric vehicles (EVs) collectively accounting for 47.3% of the overall sales.
