On March 31 local time, BYD's first overseas rail transit project, the Cloud Rail of Line 17 Gold in São Paulo, Brazil, was officially opened for operation. The opening ceremony was held at the airport station connecting Congonhas Airport, with guests such as the Governor of São Paulo attending and experiencing the ride. In 2020, BYD took over the project, completing train adaptation and system optimization around the existing beam structure. The trains use dedicated batteries and offer advantages such as automated operation. BYD conducted technological breakthroughs for harsh operating conditions to ensure the safe and stable operation of the system. Li Tie expressed his pride in contributing to the opening, and Tarcísio de Freitas acknowledged BYD's technological strength and the advanced level of the Cloud Rail trains.
