On March 31 (local time), Toyota Motor Corporation released a recall notice, announcing its decision to recall certain 2023 to 2025 Toyota Corolla Cross Hybrid models in North America owing to potential safety risks. This recall encompasses roughly 74,000 vehicles across the United States. The issue stems from the reverse warning sound of the affected vehicles, which may be softer than intended. In certain instances, it could even be barely audible, thereby heightening the likelihood of collisions with pedestrians.
