On March 29, Changan Automobile made an official announcement: it has successfully obtained the L4-level Robotaxi testing license in Chongqing. With this achievement, Changan Automobile has become an automaker that fully complies with regulations and possesses comprehensive qualifications for full-scenario L4-level autonomous driving field tests. The license was approved and issued by the Chongqing Municipal Intelligent Connected Vehicle Access and Road Traffic Pilot Work Task Force. Leveraging its full-stack, self-developed technology, Changan Automobile successfully passed multiple rounds of rigorous evaluations. This approval signifies that Changan Automobile's autonomous driving technology has advanced from L3 to L4 level, and will further drive the upgrading of Chongqing's intelligent transportation ecosystem.
