SAIC-GM recently launched a new model in the Buick GL8 PHEV series—the Land Premium Comfort DG Edition, with an official guide price of 229,900 yuan. As a mid-to-large-sized plug-in hybrid MPV, the vehicle is equipped with a 24.4 kWh lithium iron phosphate battery pack, offering a pure electric driving range of up to 142 kilometers under CLTC conditions. The optimized battery configuration effectively lowers the barrier to vehicle purchase. In terms of appearance, the new model continues the family's design language, featuring 18-inch alloy wheels, a body size of 5219x1878x1807 mm, and a wheelbase of 3088 mm. The interior adopts a dual 12.3-inch connected screen design and supports CarPlay smartphone connectivity. The powertrain features the "Zhenlong" plug-in hybrid system, consisting of a 1.5T hybrid engine and a plug-in hybrid battery, matched with a P1P3 plug-in hybrid electric drive unit and a two-speed DHT electric hybrid transmission. The drive motor delivers a maximum power of 160 kW and a peak torque of 330 Nm, with a peak efficiency of up to 97.8%.
