During the "Forum on Innovative Development of Cross-border Data Flow" at the 2026 Annual Conference of the Zhongguancun Forum, the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers, along with the Beijing Representative Office of the European Automobile Manufacturers' Association, entered into a "Memorandum of Understanding to Facilitate the Cross-border Flow of Automotive Data and Propel High-Quality Industrial Growth." This agreement signifies a commitment from both entities to intensify policy dialogues, foster innovative applications, and encourage constructive engagement, thereby unlocking new avenues for automotive companies. Looking ahead, the collaborators intend to leverage this cooperative framework to facilitate lawful data exchange and pioneering applications throughout the supply chain, stimulate resource synergy between the Chinese and European automotive sectors, and support Beijing in establishing itself as a center of innovation and enhancing its business ecosystem.
