On March 26, 2026, actual images of Mercedes-Benz’s latest compact G-Class (internally codenamed the ‘Baby G’) surfaced. Developed on a bespoke platform, this model spans roughly 4.4 meters in length and is tailored as an urban-ready off-roader. Its exterior design remains distinctly angular, featuring a rear storage compartment. The prototype currently undergoing testing is a fully electric variant, with future plans to introduce a 1.5T hybrid powertrain alongside four-wheel drive capability, slated for a 2027 market debut.
