On March 26, CNBC reported that Elon Musk's legal team requested Judge Kathaleen McCormick of the Delaware Court of Chancery to recuse herself from two Tesla lawsuits, alleging bias after she liked a LinkedIn post critical of Musk. Musk's lawyers claimed that McCormick responded to the post with a 'like,' which praised a ruling that could cost Musk over $2 billion. McCormick stated that she did not read the full post, did not express support, and might have liked it by accident. She also reported suspicious account activity to LinkedIn. Previously, McCormick had ruled to revoke Musk's 2018 CEO compensation package worth approximately $56 billion, making her a target of Musk's criticism.
