On March 24, 2026, Autohome, a prominent automotive vertical platform, saw its official accounts on multiple social media platforms—including Weibo, Douyin, Kuaishou, and Bilibili—prohibited from attracting new followers. Notably, its Weibo account, which boasted around 9.79 million followers and had last posted on January 5, was suspended for breaching laws, regulations, or the stipulations of the "Weibo Community Convention." Similarly, its accounts on Douyin, Kuaishou, and Bilibili were also restricted from gaining followers, with certain platforms citing account abnormalities or violations of community guidelines as the reasons.

This development follows a public rebuke from the Cyberspace Administration of China (CAC) in January of the same year, which criticized Autohome for its non-standard evaluation practices.
