Several social media accounts associated with Autohome, a prominent automotive internet service platform, have encountered restrictions that prevent them from acquiring new followers. Specifically, its Weibo account has been suspended for breaching laws, regulations, or the stipulations outlined in the "Weibo Community Convention." Meanwhile, other platforms such as Douyin, Kuaishou, and Bilibili have flagged the accounts for "irregularities" or "violations of community guidelines." As of now, only the customer service team for the Weibo account has issued a response. Earlier this year, in January, Autohome was publicly identified by the Cyberspace Administration of China for conducting non-compliant evaluations. Established in 2005 and having undergone multiple equity transformations, Cartree Holdings, a subsidiary of the Haier Group, emerged as its controlling shareholder in August of the previous year. Financial reports released on the evening of March 5th disclosed that Autohome's total revenue for 2025 amounted to RMB 6.45 billion, accompanied by an adjusted net profit of RMB 1.61 billion. Liu Chi, the Chairman and CEO, emphasized that 2025 signifies the inaugural year of the company's transformation, with a dual focus on enhancing content quality and service offerings.
