On March 23, XPENG announced the establishment of its Robotaxi Business Unit, which will operate under the company's first-tier organizational model and be led by Yuan Tingting. The unit consists of a Product Team and a Project Integration Team, overseeing the entire process from product definition, project integration, R&D testing, to operations. Previously, XPENG completed organizational restructuring to support business advancement. Technologically, the second-generation VLA model serves as the core foundation, and the GX Robotaxi model has already obtained road test approval. Commercially, plans include launching passenger demonstration operations in the second half of the year, introducing three mass-produced models by 2026, and opening SDK interfaces to co-build an ecosystem with partners.
