Lei Jun, the visionary founder of Xiaomi Technology, has officially declared that Xiaomi has forged a naming collaboration with three prestigious motorsport events in China: the China Touring Car Championship (CTCC), the China GT Championship (China GT), and the China Endurance Championship (CEC). Two of Xiaomi's cutting-edge models, the SU7 Ultra and YU7, are set to make their maiden appearance as the official safety cars and medical cars at these three prominent racing spectacles.

Lei Jun emphasized that the racing circuit serves as a crucial proving ground for evaluating a vehicle's performance and safety standards. Xiaomi's philosophy in car manufacturing is deeply rooted in the belief that "only through a genuine passion and understanding of cars can one craft exceptional vehicles." In line with this ethos, Xiaomi has initiated the 'Thousand People Racing License Plan' to foster a deeper connection between car enthusiasts and the sport.

Previously, Xiaomi made waves in the automotive world by unveiling its inaugural supercar concept car, the Vision GT, in collaboration with Gran Turismo 7 at the Mobile World Congress (MWC). Lei Jun further disclosed that the Xiaomi SU7 Ultra has already demonstrated remarkable prowess on the track. The upcoming iteration of the SU7 will see further enhancements in its chassis and driving control capabilities, with the ambition to create "the next generation of driver-centric vehicles."
