Recently, Leapmotor dispatched an email to its entire workforce, urging them to come clean about any illicit gains accrued in the past during the designated 'voluntary self-correction window period', which spans from February 9 to March 10. Those who voluntarily disclose their wrongdoings within this timeframe will be exempt from penalties. Subsequent reports indicate that over 10 million yuan has already been voluntarily returned. After March 10, however, individuals who do not take advantage of this opportunity to correct their actions will face penalties, which will be categorized into six levels depending on the severity of the case. Red Star Capital Bureau contacted Leapmotor to verify the details of this initiative but did not receive a response, and their attempts to reach the internal audit department were also unsuccessful. Furthermore, Leapmotor has set up an anti-corruption reporting reward system, providing rewards from 1,000 yuan to as much as 10 million yuan to whistleblowers, based on the significance of the information they provide.
