HONGMENG Intelligent Travel has announced that showcase vehicles of its family-oriented smart flagship SUV, the AITO M8, will begin arriving at 200 stores across 78 cities nationwide on March 22. This rollout includes the introduction of two new colors: Ruby Red and Sapphire Blue. Previously, Yu Chengdong had subtly indicated that the new color options for the AITO M8 would be revealed at the press conference scheduled for March 23. Additionally, he mentioned that new colors or variants of the AITO M6 and SERES Z7/Z7T would also be showcased at this event. Earlier this month, Yu Chengdong disclosed that cumulative deliveries of the AITO M8 had surpassed 160,000 units. The AITO M8 stands out as one of the first vehicles to be equipped with HUAWEI ADS 4, which incorporates a variety of radars and supports multiple advanced functions. The pure electric version makes its debut with Huawei's high-voltage seven-in-one electric drive system and comes standard with a 100-kWh CATL battery, delivering a maximum CLTC combined range of up to 705 km.
