On March 21, data disclosed by the National Energy Administration revealed that, by the end of February 2026, the total count of electric vehicle (EV) charging infrastructures, or "guns," in China had surged to 21.01 million, marking a significant year-on-year surge of 47.8%. Specifically, there were 4.834 million public charging stations, reflecting a year-on-year growth of 28.8%. Meanwhile, private charging facilities numbered 16.176 million, experiencing a robust year-on-year increase of 54.6%.
