On March 17th, Caocao Chuxing made an announcement regarding the establishment of over 3,600 virtual pick-up and drop-off locations for its Robotaxi service within Hangzhou's Binjiang District and Xiaoshan Central District. These stops are strategically positioned along major thoroughfares, in front of office buildings, and at the entrances/exits of commercial and residential complexes throughout the area. In a collaborative effort with Geely, the company is working on developing exclusive, customized Robotaxi vehicle models. These innovative vehicles are slated for their initial rollout in 2026, with plans to have a total of 100,000 units deployed by the year 2030.
