On March 17, Caocao Mobility revealed significant advancements in its Robotaxi service: It has successfully activated over 3,600 virtual pick-up and drop-off points across Binjiang District and Xiaoshan Central District in Hangzhou. These points are strategically located along major thoroughfares, in front of office complexes, and at the entrances/exits of commercial and residential zones, ensuring convenient access for users. Moving forward, the company is set to broaden its operational scope, amplify the quantity and concentration of stops, and expedite the transition to large-scale deployment. Presently, the Robotaxi fleet in Hangzhou boasts 100 vehicles, and the world’s inaugural “Green Smart Traffic Island” has been inaugurated. This innovative hub offers automated battery swapping, vehicle cleaning, and intelligent dispatch services. In tandem, the “Caocao Intelligent Driving RAS Remote Safety Service Platform” has commenced operations, prioritizing passenger security and elevating the overall travel experience.
