On March 16, Ralf Brandstätter, the CEO of Volkswagen Group China, made an announcement stating that the Volkswagen ID. Uno, the inaugural fully-electric vehicle model born out of the collaboration between Volkswagen and XPENG, has officially entered production in Hefei. This model is slated for a market debut in the first half of this year and is currently accessible at Volkswagen Gold Standard dealerships. Concurrently, the second model jointly developed by both companies is poised for release within the same year.
