BYD is intensifying its foothold in the Latin American market, as its Camacari plant in Brazil has successfully secured export orders for a combined total of 100,000 new energy vehicles from Argentina and Mexico, with each country placing an order for 50,000 units. This plant, boasting an annual production capacity of 150,000 vehicles, has ambitious plans to incrementally expand its capacity to 600,000 vehicles. It will manufacture both plug-in hybrid and pure electric models, including the Dolphin Mini, King, and Song Pro.
