On the evening of March 13, Chery's iCAR brand officially rolled out its inaugural extended-range SUV, the V27, with prices spanning from 169,800 yuan to 199,800 yuan. This vehicle is positioned as a rugged, boxy, mid-to-large-sized SUV, exuding a sturdy exterior with ample body dimensions and a wheelbase measuring 2,910mm. The interior is adorned with a classic T-shaped console layout and comes standard with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8295P chip across all variants.
In terms of powertrain, the V27 is outfitted with an extended-range system that combines a 1.5T engine with an electric motor, offering both rear-wheel-drive and four-wheel-drive configurations. For the pure electric driving range, the four-wheel-drive variant delivers 200km, while the rear-wheel-drive version extends it to 210km. The combined range figures soar up to 1,200km and 1,230km, respectively, for the two versions.
Moreover, the vehicle is equipped with a sophisticated intelligent driver assistance system, with the top-tier model boasting cutting-edge hardware such as LiDAR, enhancing its safety and driving convenience.
