Tonight, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) unveiled the latest product announcement for the 405th batch of the 'Catalogue of Road Motor Vehicle Manufacturing Enterprises and Products.' The 'identity snapshot' of HiMo Intelligent Travel's novel AITO M9 made its grand appearance. This fresh model presents two powertrain alternatives: a pure electric setup and an extended-range configuration. Exterior details have undergone refinements, with the most prominent modification being the adoption of non-concealed door handles and a marginal augmentation in vehicle dimensions.
Optional features encompass a variety of wheel designs, electrically retractable side steps, and a rear towing hook. The extended-range variant is outfitted with a 1.5T range extender, delivering motor powers of 220kW at the front and 277kW at the rear, respectively. The pure electric iteration mirrors the motor power specifications of its extended-range counterpart. Furthermore, WLTC fuel consumption figures for the extended-range version across varying curb weights have also been disclosed.
Previously, during the HiMo Intelligent Travel Technology Renewal Launch Event, Yu Chengdong proclaimed that the AITO M9 would pioneer the integration of Huawei's cutting-edge dual-light-path image-grade LiDAR technology.
