On March 13, the ZHIYI 08, the first full-time connected, full-size, all-electric SUV co-developed by Volkswagen and XPENG, officially entered mass production at the Volkswagen Anhui manufacturing facility in Hefei, Anhui Province. Remarkably, from the initial agreement signing to the commencement of mass production, the entire process spanned a mere 24 months. The model is slated for its market debut in the first half of 2026.
