At the market analysis conference held on March 12, Cui Dongshu, the Secretary-General of the Passenger Car Market Information Joint Conference Branch under the China Automobile Dealers Association, projected that the auto market would witness a year-on-year growth rate surpassing 15% from March to June 2025. Given this robust base effect, the auto market is expected to encounter substantial pressure in terms of year-on-year growth during the first half of 2026, with growth likely to pick up only in the latter half of the year. It is forecasted that domestic sales for the entirety of 2026 will experience a year-on-year decline, whereas export volumes are set to rise year-on-year. Additionally, wholesale sales in the auto market are expected to remain relatively stable on a year-on-year basis.
