On March 13, reports emerged that G-ASD, the cutting-edge intelligent advanced driver assistance system developed by Geely Auto Group, has secured the UN EU UNR171 international certification. This certification was jointly granted by the China Automotive Technology and Research Center (CATARC) and IDIADA, marking a significant milestone as G-ASD becomes China’s first high-level advanced driver assistance system to successfully achieve global recognition. It is anticipated that in June of this year, the first Geely model equipped with G-ASD will officially roll out onto European streets. Looking ahead, G-ASD is slated for comprehensive deployment across various Geely-owned brands, including Geely itself, Zeekr, Lynk & Co, and Lotus.
